Pocket Silhouettes - Curtain Call #34

I am so happy this week is over and it's time for another Curtain Call Challenge!  I have been so busy getting ready for my garage sale, but now it's over.  It was a great success!  So, I guess it was worth all the time I put into it.  I did forget one little thing, though.  We had a wedding reception to attend Saturday evening and I had not worked on my card for this week's challenge.

We didn't stay long...we were all very tired.  When we got home, everyone else went to bed.  I worked on this color combo!

This was a bit of a rush job. I wish I had a little more time to work on it.  I may have changed the distressed look on the Whisper White....added/or changed a few details.  Instead, I decided to let it be.  I do like how the Sahara Sand adds an nice shadow effect.

So, what will the rest of the Curtain Call Crew create?

  1. Glad to hear the garage sale was such a success! Now you have lot of money to spend on stamping goodies ;D

Love how you used the Stem Silhouette set on this card. The multiple colours in each frame are great and I don't mind the torn panels at all. I'm impressed you were able to pull this off after such a busy day! Make sure your rest tomorrow!!

  2. that is one fab card, Shelley! love the torn edges and the lovely trio of stems:)

glad you survived the garage sale...more stamping $$, right?

  3. Great use of the Pocket Silhouettes set - looks fab with that mix of colours! Loving the torn tops of the three panels too!

  4. SO creative, Shelley! Fabulous creation! xxx

  5. Rush job or not, this is fabulous!!! Love how you stamped the flowers in different colors!!!

  6. You make repetitive stamping on amazing technique!

  7. This is so pretty! I just love how you did the stamping!! Great job with the colors!

  8. Interesting colors and you did a great job with them. Love how you stapled the ribbon, the three panels of stamping that are torn at the top, the flower brads kind of bookending the sentiment -- all great details! Doesn't look like a rush job at all!

  9. Fabulous stamping--I love the depth the different colors and shades add to the scene! Love that stapled ribbon too!

  10. Great work with this one Shelley! I just loooooooove the stapled ribbon, such a neat idea! glad to hear the garage sale was a success, now you have more money for stamping supplies-lol! :)

  11. Very pretty, I like how you used staples on the ruffled ribbon. Wish I had thought of this, I wouldn't have wasted a whole bunch of ribbon trying to get a card made a few weeks ago.

  12. Beautiful card. This is one of my favorite stamp sets. Great job.

  13. I'm happy your garage sale went well!!! A good feeling to have it over with, but now look at all the extra space you have to buy more! {That is what happens to me... LOL!} Wonderful card and I must confess, I don't even have Sahara Sand CS or ink pad. Enabler... ha! :)

  14. This doesn't look like a rush job at all, very pretty card. TFS
