While things have slowed down around here, I still find myself gone more than home. I am a homebody. I like puttering around the house, so you can bet I'll be home if it's at all possible. The only two things I choose to do rather than stay home? Activities with my kids and shopping for vintage (at either sales or auctions.) I did hit a few good auctions and sales the past two weeks, so I am guilty of not stamping because of that. If you're into vintage, check out my other blog: Made or Found.
In the meantime, how about a Show CASE card?
When free time is in short supply, a card CASE (Copy And Share
with Everyone) can be the perfect way to have a little fun!. Show CASE
is my personal attempt to have that time for stamping, without of
the pressure to create something totally original. I want to pay
tribute to the many talented stampers out in the blogosphere that
are so inspiring to me. I hope you enjoy seeing my "take" on
their creation.
Today's card is inspired by Cambria @ Stamp A Little Love Baby!
I had to change the layout because instead of a square card, I made mine an A2.
I also changed the sentiment and ribbon.
Check out Cambria's card HERE.

One Layer Spring Cutie!
I have another challenge to share today. Big surprise, right? I think I have almost over 2 dozen challenges bookmarked. Challenges are like cobwebs around my house, the more you find, the more you find! I love 'em though! A good challenge always gets me motivated.
So, today's challenge is from the girls at Stampin' Royalty. They called for a Single Layer Card. This is a tough one for me, but I have been trying very hard to simplify my some of cards. Surprisingly, it didn't take long for the idea OR the actually construction. Yipee!
The stamp set is Flower For All Seasons, which I colored with my Blender Pen and Stampin' Pastels. The sentiment is from the retired hostess set, Baskets of Fun. The frame around the image is sticky tape, heated slightly and covered with Dazzling Diamonds. Love this! It was my first time trying it and it won't be the last! I want to point out that my card base is Stampin' Up! Naturals White cardstock. It works great as a card base because the weight is so much heavier than Whisper White. Plus, it had a little bit of visual texture (click to get a good look.) Sorry the picture isn't the best, I had to take it in the evening.
So, it should be a fairly quiet weekend around here. I will be helping my daughter with her Science Fair project, but you know they'll be some stamping going on, too! Have a great weekend!
