Oh, do I love the colors for this week's Curtain Call! Isn't this just beautiful? I love flowers and grow many kinds. How I would love to have some of these in my garden!
My first instinct was to use my Branch Out set. Hmmm, can't do that, my friend Cathy is borrowing it. Second thought, how about Season of Friendship? No, Debbie has that one. So, third choice...Inspired By Nature! Guess that's what I'm going with!
I haven't combined challenges in soooo long! Heck, other than the Curtain Call, I've done no other challenges! Well, I just had to participate in the Mojo Monday challenge! How I would LOVE to win me some Verve stamps!
What about the rest of the Crew? You must check them out!

Show CASE - Inspired By Nature
I am so happy to report things have slowed down a bit around my house. Now keep in mind, I still have TONS of my son's baseball games to attend. Initially I thought it was "only" 8 this week. Then, I remembered in addition to their weekday games, they are playing in a weekend tournament this Saturday. So, I'm guessing...over 10? I will be at ball games everyday this week except Wednesday and Sunday. So, you see why I need Show CASE so much!
When free time is in short supply, a card CASE (Copy And Share with Everyone) can be the perfect way to have a little fun!. Show CASE is my personal attempt to have that time for stamping, without of the pressure to create something totally original. I want to pay tribute to the many talented stampers out in the blogosphere that are so inspiring to me. I hope you enjoy seeing my "take" on their creation.
Today's CASE is from an unknown stamper. I'm sorry to say, this is one of the instances I didn't keep very good records. I found this on the Stampin' Up! Show and Tell portion of the demo site. Since I saved this card they have changed the site. So, if anyone knows who's card this is, please let me know, I'll give the credit to that person.
My changes:
Lovely Lilac cardstock
Ribbon
Here's the original card, for comparison.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's free day!

Kristina's Color Inspiration #3

There are so many techniques out there that I have not done. Today's card for Kristina's Color Inspiration is one of those techniques I have to try, at least once. It's the Baby Wipe Swipe. I used a wipe for each of the colors: Orchid Opulence, Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie. I had read that you are to use reinkers, but I just used my ink pads. The stamp set, Inspired by Nature worked well in Basic Black. My biggest challenge was squeezing in the Whisper White. I tried to keep that to a minimum because even a little bit REALLY stands out.
I had to take this picture at a really strange angle so you can see into the circle I punched in the front of the card. Inside is a Rose Red flower from Flower Fusion with a Pumpkin Pie eyelet in the middle. The stamp is from Think Happy Thoughts.
I feel like I'm in a rut with my cards, doing a challenge almost everyday is challenging! No time to take breather and just let the ideas flow. So, I may CASE a few cards in the next few days. I've seen a lot of great ones lately! On the other hand, maybe I'll try another new technique. Who knows!
