Elizabeth, the stamp, not my mother or mother-in-law. I really do love this stamp and it has not seen enough ink. Sadly, it will be retiring the end of this month. Along with just about everything on this card! I used the
Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sale-A-Bration and the doily die cut from the Flirtatious DSP. Don't recognize it as Flirtatious? I used my brayer to cover it with
Early Espresso ink. Love it!!! I sure hope Stampin' Up brings out a die or die cuts to replace these doilies because they are so much fun!
So, I had to get motivated with a challenge, right?
With just a little artistic license I followed the
Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
Additionally, the
Just Add Ink challenge, "Just Add...Mother."
I have another card to share, so stay tuned! It's my mother's card. This one is for my mother-in-law. So, Mom, don't read any more posts until after Mother's Day! (my mother-in-law doesn't read my blog, so I'm safe, there.)
Love the zig zag stitching and the doily is a wonderful pop of dark colour :) Well done!
ReplyDeleteWOW what a fab idea to colour the doily to suit your colour combo!!! Thanks for your entry this week at Just Add Ink.
