Keeping the Streak Alive!

Ok, I have a bit of a streak going here. Four days straight of posting cards. I had a card planned for today. The problem is, I left my camera at my grandmother's birthday party. So, I'm going to show a card I did a couple weeks ago and had not posted. No challenge involved! Just me making a card to go with a baby gift.Isn't it just the cutest idea ever? I never get tired of making this card. The original came from Lauren Meader. She has a great tutorial over at her blog and this link will take you right to it, so check it out.

The lone stamp on this card is from Tart & Tangy. I inked the stamp in Rose Red, then removed the ink from the stem and leaf with a Q-tip. I used my markers to fill those in and stamped. All easy enough!

So, I am hoping to make a new card tomorrow. I have another birthday coming up, a little niece celebrating her second birthday. I want to keep my streak in tact!

  1. WOW, Shelley... you are in a creative MODE!! And I'm very much enjoying it!!!!! Just a darling card and the Swiss dots embossing gives great texture. And the scallops are the "icing on the card"!!

Keep warm... Hope you survived the snow day!!! :)
