D is For Dog and C is For Challenges

I was going to hold onto this card until tomorrow, when I could photograph it in decent light. Tomorrow I'll be on to others things. In fact, I have a sewing project I would like to start and finish by the weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll be posting or not. I'm haven't tired of doing challenges and making cards, so maybe I'll be able to squeeze in both!

I completed the sketch challenge at Our Creative Corner:Since I've been simplifying my cards, the sketch worked great for me.

And the color combo at Stamping 411:The color combo contains a few of my favorites, so that wasn't too tough.
You may remember a few cards back I stamped a Riding Hood Red bunny and liked it. So, why not a Bermuda Bay dog from D is For Dog? It's whimsical!

I would have liked to use the Woodgrain background stamp on this one, but I don't have it yet. It's on my wishlist. Using Sanded worked out fine.

No embellishments, so I did a little sewing (big surprise) and a little paper piercing and called it done!
