Upsy Daisy - Not Quite Navy

Hello my stamping friends! It's Wednesday. Today and tomorrow are my two free days this week. I'm heading to a flea market and an auction at the end of the week so I thought I better get a postin'!

The card I'm sharing today is one I designed for a Stampin' Up party just last night. It was the make and take card. Now let me say, I know the Hodgepodge Hardware is retired. This is not the exact same card. The make and take card didn't have the paper piercing, the sentiment was different and in a different spot, etc.. It's just that I needed to make a card ASAP for my my mom and dad's anniversary. This card was well suited to become their anniversary card. The fact is, I will be running this to the post office as soon as I'm done here!

I love the color combo on this card. Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. While I like all the colors very much, it's not often I use this combination. I like it!

I should have another card to share here, maybe today, maybe tomorrow? My brother-in-law's birthday is Friday and it has to get all the way to California. Guess it's going to be late! See ya then!

  1. You are right these colors together really look nice... and sweet card! I enjoy this stamp set, and you can do so many fun techniques with it. Are you having any luck at Auctions? I know we have a few in the area lately and end of season garage sales. We had a killing frost last night and it was sad seeing my flowers go... :( But it's time to get them pulled and enjoy the leaves! I set up a "Spa Day" for Cooper, our dog... twice a year we take him in to be groomed, nails trimmed, bath, etc. He just LOVES the girls! Then I have a clean dog for lets say a couple days I wish for! Ha... :) Have a great weekend... Michelle :)
