I have been pouring over the new catalog lately. Isn't amazing how you can see something new every time? I noticed this card sketch on page 13 and wanted to give it a try. Now mine doesn't have the same proportions to the catalog example. And I didn't use the same stamps sets. It's just the general idea of the card.I added another idea that caught my eye. This one on page 97. Punching many holes along the long side of the Always Artichoke with the 1/16" circle punch. Then, going back and cutting to each punched hole. I roughed it a bit, too.
Sadly, the only current stamp used on this card is the bird, from Friends 24-7.
I have been working on many cards this week, just nothing I'm ready to show, just yet. Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Shelley!! I'm into fall colors right now and sure enjoy your layout... I know the card you worked off in the Catty! We did a similar card at Julie's card club. Perfect way to use up those scraps!! (God knows I have a ton of that!) I'm sure you do too... :) Hope your summer is going well and getting some warm temps. We have highs later this week of only 68 and this is JULY I think... LOL! What will 6 months from now bring... 68 below! Ha.. :) Sweet dreams... Michelle :)
