Wandering Words - SSK#43

Hi Stampers!

Time for another sketch challenge. A big shout out to all the ladies who take the time to create challenges. They are big motivators for me. Anymore I find ways to stay OUT of the crafting room. I always think I have something more important to do. While most of the time that is true, I still have to make time to create, right? Today's offering is once again from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

This card was finished at 2:30 am this morning! I started it at 1:30! I know, crazy to be up at that time when I have to be up at 6:30. What can I say? I had spent a couple hours previous loading Christmas music on my Ipod, a definite priority! So, I listen to Christmas music while I made this card! Now it wouldn't have taken me the entire hour if I didn't have a little trouble with stamping my image. I think I finally stopped on the FIFTH try and said, Good enough!" In the end what worked best was using my markers to ink my stamp. I could have done better with the Close to Cocoa, it looked better on other efforts, but this was the best all-around attempt. BTW, the stamp set is: Wandering Words, from the current mini.

Oh, I am in love with my Jumbo Snowflake punch, too. I used my versamark followed by Stardust embossing powder to give it that shimmer! Yum, yum!

Stay tuned for more Christmas cards!
