Kristina's Color Inspiration #31

I have to say, the last few of Kristina's Color Inspiration's, I knew what stamp set I would use the minute I saw the picture. I'm waiting for "stampers block" when I just can't get anything done. I dread those days. Thankfully, this went together quickly. I'm looking at the picture and it seems a little dark, particularly the purple. I had to substitute Perfect Plum for Elegant Eggplant cardstock. I have run out of Elegant Eggplant. I used the Eastern Blooms and Best Yet sets and stamped those images with Close To Cocoa. I sponged So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie on Whisper White using the masking technique to emphasize my setting sun. I sponged more Pumpkin Pie lightly all over my Whisper White then sponged the edges with Perfect Plum to the very edge. Another fun challenge! Thank you Kristina!

  2. Thanks so much for the visit on my blog!! I truly LOVE your card today! I'm a sucker for plum colors as that was my main color at our wedding... :) I just can't get enough of the CB embossing folders lately. I'm glad you have it on order as it's a great folder to have for Christmas and winter cards... So many fun things to create. I'll visit again soon as I subscribed just a few minutes ago! Michelle :)
